FPS Meter

FPS Meter for Android is a useful tool that displays FPS (Frames per second) on the screen overlay. This allows you to benchmark your real device's performance in real-time.

Step 1

You can skip this step, if you have a working ADB installation.

Download and install Universal USB Driver.

Download USB driver
If you have troubles installing Universal USB Driver, try downloading USB driver from your device manufacture's web site. A list of OEM drivers can be found here.

Step 2

Download FPS Meter Desktop App.

This application requires Java Runtime 1.7. If you dont have Java installed, please download and install it.

Step 3

Enable USB Debugging on your phone.

To do this navigate to Settings and tap Developer options on your device. Then check "USB debugging" (or "Android debugging") option.

On some Android devices Developer options are hidden by default. To enable them, navigate to Settings > About phone and tap 7 times on "Build number". After the 7th tap you will see a notification "You are now a developer!".

Step 4

Launch FPS Meter Desktop App

You may receive a pop-up "Allow USB debugging?" on your device. Check "Always allow from this computer" and tap "Ok".

Step 5

Select your device from the list and click "Start Service"

Step 6

Launch FPS Meter on your device and enjoy.
